An experienced sports philanthropy professional and Sport Business Journal Game Changers nominee, Bridget Gannon is the Senior Director of Social Impact & Events for the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA). At the NBRPA, Gannon leads the Legends Care initiative, including its programs and development, and is instrumental in the growth, execution and success of Legends Media & Entertainment.

 

Prior to joining the NBRPA in 2018, she oversaw the Nationals Dream Foundation - charitable arm of the Washington Nationals baseball team - and was MLB's 2018 All-Star Legacy Projects Coordinator, leading $1.7 million of capital improvement projects around the DC metro area. In addition to 11 and a half seasons with the Washington Nationals, Gannon also had stints with the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, and Legg Mason Tennis Classic (now Citi Open).

A native of Philadelphia, PA, and proud alum of Mount Saint Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA), Gannon received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC and certificates from Yale University and Northwestern University. She is currently completing a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
