Conscious listening is the act of being intentionally present during communication to thoroughly absorb, understand, respond and retain what is being said. Caitlin Hartley, Director of Game Presentation for the Dallas Wings, gives great tips on how to practice conscious listening in interviews, one-on-one meetings and when starting a new job. She also reveals to Jahaan why she wasn’t afraid to move for a good career opportunity and why working in professional sports meshed with her lifestyle better than working in collegiate sports.
