Game of Her Own

Jan 26, 2023

If you were in the sports industry for close to ten years, would you leave your job and essentially the industry to travel Europe for six months? Well, our guest Christi Bedan, Vice President of Digital & Media for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did exactly that.

She has been in the industry now for almost twenty years and drops so much wisdom in this episode.

We of course talked about what it was like to leave the workforce to travel the world for six months and how she explained that gap in her resume.

She also talks about:

  • Why it’s important to know you don’t always have to end up where you start
  • How she talked about the gaps in her resume during interviews
  • The value in understanding the why behind business decisions that are being made
  • How she built her self-confidence muscle
  • How her work-life balance changed depending on the season of her life
